  • Abstract photos

In this photo I used value and balance. Value in the colour red and blue, and balance, because each colour balance the other one. In that one I used space and movement. I used negative space for the background, and movement in Makenna that she was in movement during the photo. In this photo I used shape and emphasis. Shape in the forms of the tree decoration, and emphasis because when you first look into the picture your eyes get drawn to the beads. In that one I used lines and balance. Lines with the shadow of the window and the T-shirt, and balance because the photo looks complete. In the last photo, I used shape and movement. • Triptychs

"MY PASSION PROCESS" The idea of this triptych is showing the process of the ball before it enters to the hoop. The triptych is successfully created because is made with three photos in different angles, showing how the ball starts with the shoot and then how fly and finally enter. What I thought I wanted to do from the beginning. I can see the element of art; shape. I used in the hoop and the ball, because both are spheres. The principle of design here is movement, because the ball moving is moving in the shoot. The rule of photography is viewpoint, because the photos are taking by three different angles. "THE COWGIRLS FRIENDSHIP" The idea of this triptych is show how two cowgirls friends hold their hands. The triptych is successfully created because you can see how the three photos are connected to holding their hands and it's what I wanted to do. I can see the element of art; shape. It's in how their hands fit together. The principle of design here is emphasis, because I'm trying to focus the attention of the viewers on the hands. The rule of photography is leading lines, because the lines on the arms lead to the hands. "SMILING MAKES YOU HAPPY" The idea of this triptych is show the different lengths of viewing a person and in different poses. The triptych is successfully created because shows the same person far, a little bit near, and in front of the camera and in different poses. That's what I wanted to show. I can see the element of art; lines. You can see the lines in the stairs. The principle of design here is pattern & repetition, because behind in the stairs, the lines make a pattern. The rule of photography is leading lines, because the lines on the stairs lead to the subject.

How do photographers use ______ in photos? ELEMENTS OF ART - SHAPE Photographers often use c ircles to create a feeling of harmony and balance, while triangles can add a sense of movement and drama. Squares and rectangles can help to create a sense of structure and also order. PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN - EMPHASIS Photographers use emphasis using shallow depth of field, or selective focus, when you take a photo. This will blur most of the image except for the focal point, which should be in sharp focus. They want you to pay attention in the object they want. RULES OF PHOTOGRAPHY - LEADING LINES Photographers use leading lines because they lead the viewer's eyes through a photograph to the subject or the heart of the image, and lines can create a sense of three-dimensionality, especially in landscape photography.
