What is a shutter speed? A shutter speed is how fast or slow the shutter opens and closes.
When are slow shutter speeds useful to photographers? Slow are useful when you want the moving subject to be blurred or you want to let more light into the photo.
When are fast shutter speeds useful to photographers? Fast are useful to stop motion in sports photography, and to capture quick moments.
What is the recommended way to prevent camera shake when using slow shutter speeds? Use a tripod and set a timer.
Do you think you have a good understanding of shutter speed? How can you use this knowledge in future photos? Yes, I do. I can use it for be more creative and make my photographs more interesting.

I used colour in this photo, using an umbrella for it. I t makes a blurry mix of a lots of colours at the same time. I also used unity taking a photo of the hole subject in it.

I used balance, since the photo feels with good stability. And I also used lines. You can see the lines in the football field.

In this photo, I used shape. You can see the volleyball ball in it. I also used emphasis. You can see that the background is blurry so people is gonna focus on the boy throwing the ball.

In this other one, I used space, using a negative space in the backround, empty. And in this one I also used emphasis since people will focus on the part where the spark is seen.

I used color using the basketball ball. There is also negative space because the background is all in one color, so you don't have anything to focus.

In this last one, I used unity. All the subject, in this case the ball, is in the photo and you can see it perfectly. There is also shape, since we can see that the ball is perfectly round.
1.The idea behind panning as a technique in photography is slowing the shutter speed slightly combined with moving the camera the same way the subject is moving.
2. Panning works best in dim lighting, not dark, but dim. Because the shutter is open for longer it brings more light into the photo. If you were to do this in a bright light place the photo could come out looking very bright and hard to see. Depending on how long your shutter is open for the brightness will differ.
3. The concept of panning is easy, all you have to do is move the camera the same speed and direction of your subject. The camera has to follow the subject in a straight line or else it will be blurred.
4. If you want to take a panning photo you have to have a good attitude and be very patient. Panning is difficult, it takes a long time to do and I noticed that most of the photos you take are going to fail so you have to be willing to try over and over again.
5. I think that my photos were successful because I was able to catch the subject in motion.
