Photographers use shape to create more visual effects. Shapes can convey different feelings; for example, circles suggest movement, while squares and rectangles convey stability.

I used shape with the dices, they have a square shape and they are all together.

Photographers use value using the lightness or darkness of tones in an image, to create dimension and contrast. When they control the light and the shadow, they focus on some points and create more attention in them.

I used value with the figure of the bird, and editing the image to a black and white colour. You can see that the beak of the crow is more light than the rest of the body.

Photographers use texture to add visual interest and depth to the images. They capture the surface quality of objects, showing variations in colour, shadow, line, and shape.

I used texture with the flowers cause you can see the different texture in the petals of it.

Photographers use pattern and repetition to create an engaging image. You can use repetition in shapes, colours... You can use pattern including variations in spacing and the incorporation of contrasting elements.

I used pattern and repetition with the markers. I took a few and even though they are of different colors, you can clearly see that they have the same shape and all together they are what give the pattern and repetition.

Photographers use emphasis to draw the viewer's eye to a specific subject or element within an image, making it the focal point. Emphasis ensures the intended message is conveyed effectively.

I used emphasis converting the image to black and white except for three of the books in the image, which I have left in their original color, so people will notice and focus first on these three specific books.

Photographers use balance by distributing visual weight evenly across the image. This can be done symmetrically, with mirrored elements, or asymmetrically, using elements of differing sizes and weights.

I used balance with Makenna's eyes, placing them one on each side of the photo with the lines of the box on her head. Creating a symmetrical photo.
